Since March 2009, Frédéric Geerts has been the CEO and Managing Director at Rothschild Martin Maurel Monaco part of the Rothschild & Co. Group.

He graduated with the title of “Commercial Engineer” at the SOLVAY Business School – ULB University of Brussels – which is the Belgian equivalent of French "HEC". He is also the holder of a Master in Wealth Engineering from Clermont-Ferrand, France.

Frederic Geerts was a Corporate and Investment Banker within the “Groupe Générale de Belgique” in Brussels and in Paris for 15 years, beginning his career in 1996 as an "Afro-optimist" at “Banque Belgolaise”, as Corporate & Area Manager in Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa then in 1999, joining the Group that had just became Fortis and in which he held various management positions.

In 2006, he was promoted to member of the “Specialized Finance Services” Management Board, Head of Development.

In December 2020, he becomes the new President of the CEMA,  Club of Monegasque Entrepreneurs in Africa ;as he is one of the five founding members, he had been the Secretary General since origin in 2014 and the responsible for the development of its international programs in Kinshasa, Abidjan, Dakar and Mauritius .

With Rothschild Martin Maurel, Frédéric has initiated the patronage of the Printemps des Arts de Monte-Carlo since 2011, and in particular he was responsible for the organization in 2013 of the event "Monaco-Kinshasa which was a double concert, in Monaco, then in Congo, of the Kinshasa Symphony Orchestra. This event was done with the support and active presence of H.R.H the Princess of Hanover.
