From the 9th-11th of September 2025, you are invited to be part of a trade mission to Cotonou, Benin, focused on sustainable agriculture and water management organised by Chambre du Commerce et d’Industrie du Benin, Dutch Embassy in Cotonou, Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), and supported by the NABC.
This mission will connect Dutch and Beninese stakeholders to explore business opportunities, technical partnerships, and sustainable solutions in key sectors, including horticulture, poultry, storage, processing, cold chain, agricultural waste, water infrastructure, and management.
Through tailored B2B matchmaking, site visits, and expert-led discussions, this mission aims to:
-Unlock market opportunities for Dutch companies in Benin’s agriculture and water sectors.
-Foster strategic partnerships between Dutch and Beninese businesses, farmers, and institutions.
-Enhance knowledge exchange on sustainable farming, water efficiency, and innovative agribusiness solutions.
-Support local sector development through business model insights and impactful collaborations.
The mission is particularly interesting for participants who are involved in:
-Trade in agricultural products such as fruit and vegetables;
-Production and delivery of: propagating material or planting material (and seeds) for agricultural production; equipment for agricultural production and handling, cold stores, sorting and packaging solutions; agrochemicals and biological agents; agricultural technology, digital systems and advisory services for agri/agriculture (such as remote sensing, satellite data processing) for the production of fruit and vegetables.
In addition, the mission is interesting for:
-Companies active in the water sector;
-Companies active in supporting sectors such as energy and logistics;
-Knowledge institutions.
