Today, on the margins of the Africa Climate Summit 2025 in Addis Ababa, the European Union Delegation to Ethiopia and Agence Française de Développement (AFD), in true Team Europe fashion, joined the Government of Ethiopia to sign an €120 million contribution for RISED – Renewable Integrated Sustainable Energy and Digitalisation, a flagship initiative under the EU’s Global Gateway strategy. Signed at the Team Europe Pavilion, the agreement marks a major milestone in the longstanding partnership between Ethiopia and Europe.
